Memphis first settled in the 1830’s!  Memphis is a city with a rich past and an exciting future.  Straddling the border of Macomb and St. Clair counties, Memphis is located along state highway M-19, midway between Metro Detroit and the gorgeous Thumb of Michigan.  This location offers an excellent balance of proximity to the amenities and employment opportunities of a big city, yet the unique small-town atmosphere in which to raise a family.
